The Team

Dimitris has spent a considerable part of his life studying and working between Greece, Boston, South Florida and Italy. His passion for the sea, appreciation for design, as well as his outgoing personality have matched very well with his role in Yacht Brokerage and New-Construction for the company. He has served as a member of EKKA Yachts S.A. board since 2006 and currently manages the Athens office, as well as the company's international expansion.

Before assuming his role as Managing Director at EKKA Yachts, Dimitris worked for Ferretti Group USA and contributed significantly in the company's dealer expansion programme in the US between 2003 and 2005. From 2005 till 2011 he also served as Marketing director for Mercedes-Benz's fastest growing dealer in Greece, and today's largest Mercedes-Benz dealer in Greece by market share.

In 2015 Dimitris spearheaded the creation of the Trident Yacht Alliance, a new company formed by three major dealerships in Europe - EKKA Yachts, Mennyacht and Ventura Yachts with the purpose to create a marketing platform for their brokerage business.

In addition to his role as EKKA Yachts' managing director, Dimitris is highly focused on yacht sales and is among the team's most active sales brokers.

Dimitris is fluent in five languages, an avid boater and a licensed captain. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Bentley University and has completed Harvard Business School' s Owner-President Management program. He enjoys traveling and meeting people from different cultures more than anything, and spends his free time listening to music, running, and boating. Dimitris is married to Melissa and the father of Nicholas and Maya.
